Other Specification:

  • Master Degree in Psychology (counselling or clinical) or one year diploma in counselling with minimum 2 years of experience.
  • 2 years prior work experience in psychology especially in the area of the mental health or in related theme with preference on MHPSS.
  • University Degree in Psychology, Master’s degree is preferable.
  • Proactive personality performing in the teamwork.
  • Flexibility and creativity.
  • Diplomatic and effective communicator at all levels.
  • Excellent written and spoken in both Nepali and English.
  • Having good learning attitude on Mental health and crosscutting issues of disabilities.

 

Job Description:

  • Engage in developing the a project detailed Implementation Plan (DIP) and execute the activities in line with budget.
  • Facilitate  for effective and efficient collaboration with community and stakeholders primarily the municipalities, Health Facilities, teachers and SMC and Organizations of persons with disabilities (OPDs) while implementing project activities.
  • Support and facilitate Health system strengthening ,and municipalities to establish and conduct mental health and psychosocial support services at the localized level.
  • Develop and facilitate training including the sessions design and organize orientation programs for health workers, FCHVs, teachers, other relevant stakeholders  and community members .
  • Develop  plan and provide psychosocial counselling to  the beneficiaries as per the proper assessment, ensure  complete documentation of the intervention, and follow up until the cases are terminated.
  • Capacity building of project team for development and facilitation of community orientation and sensitization programs in regard to mental health and need of the mental health well-being through psychosocial counselling.
  • Supervise the technical aspect of the project.
  • Support and facilitate in enhancing the capacity of CPSW on reporting, documentation, social mobilization etc.
  • Supervise and groom the CPSWs under the project to ensure quality project delivery.
  • Preparing the reports of various kinds as required for the project including events reporting, writing case stories, transforming lives and other news for sharing in the organization for the wider visibility and so on.
  • Prepare the PPT and other presentation during  the review meetings/events.
  • Take an advance to organize the events/activities outlined in the project and settle the advance with the standard settlement process.
  • Prepare systematic record and database of the beneficiaries ensuring the privacy.
  • Represent KOSHISH among the community and stakeholders’ settings in various forums.
  • Support Project Coordinator to implement project activities and prepare the project reports as per donor and organizational requirement.
  • Updates the Supervisor regarding the project activities and planning thereof.
