Required Professional Experience:
- Demonstrated of experience and expertise preferably in an NGO context (including 5 years working experience national and/or international NGOs as a project lead for agriculture/economic development/livelihood) project in Nepal with in working with community/grassroots people and organizations particularly with farmer/producer groups, savings groups, cooperatives in projects specially focused on Climate Change Adaptation, Financial Inclusion, agriculture extension and DRR.
- Experience in development project management, especially in the roles of technical support to local partners
- Extensive experience and recognized expertise in models and methods of training, facilitation and capacity building, Project Management and organizational development for staffs, communities and government stakeholders
- Understanding of poverty issues, development theories and sustainable development practices
- Self-starter who can work independently under pressure.
Required Education, training, license, registration and certification:
- Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture or relevant discipline
- Certification/ course on Climate smart Agriculture/CBDRM is preferred.
Preferred Knowledge and Skills:
- Master’s Degree in Agriculture or relevant discipline
- A good fluency in using digital platforms
- Work experience in world vision in the relevant area is preferred.
- Experience in planning and implementing action research on technology adoption at community level
- Experience of planning implementing CFS/FFS
- Team building, collaboration, facilitation and leadership skills
- Understanding of GESI, disability approach, community led activities and local advocacy
- Demonstrated networking, partnership and coordination ability
- Excellent problem-solving skills and detail orientation
- Able to work under pressure
- Demonstrated agility in COVID-19 context
- High level of fluency in English and Nepali language (reading, writing and speaking)
- Skilled in MS office applications.

- Demonstrate understanding of and commitment to World Vision’s Core Values in the approach to work and relationships
- Ensure implementation of Child Protection Policy and Child Safe Organization practices.
Travel and/or Work Environment
This position will require to travel at least 60% of the time in project districts (Achham) and different location in Kailali.
