Other Specification:

  • Master's degree in a relevant field such as International Development, Social Sciences, or related disciplines. 
  • 2-4 years of experience in program coordination with a demonstrated understanding of Participatory M&E, Knowledge Development and Knowledge Management.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey complex information effectively to diverse audiences, including beneficiaries, partners donors, and team members.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret program data, identify trends, and provide recommendations for program improvements.
  • Proficiency in project management methodologies, including planning, execution, risk management, and reporting. M&E certification is advantageous.
  • Ability to work in multicultural environments and sensitivity to diverse perspectives, cultures, and backgrounds.
  • Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Office Suite, project management software, and data analysis tools. Knowledge of donor-specific reporting requirements is a plus.
  • A collaborative attitude with the ability to work effectively in a team, build relationships, and foster a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Capacity to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced NGO/INGO setting, handling multiple tasks and shifting priorities as needed.
  • Proficiency in Tamang and Hyolmu languages is desirable.

 

Job Description:

  • Coordinate the overall M&E system, Knowledge Management system, and also facilitate the Learning process within the organization on these issues.  
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and beneficiaries to ensure effective communication, collaboration, and alignment of program activities with a focus on monitoring, evaluation, accountability and integrating learning to improve existing projects and future project development. 
  • Design and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks, track programme performance, gather data, case studies and contribute to evidence-based reporting for donors and stakeholders.
  • Identify training needs for programme staff and partners, organize capacity-building workshops, and provide guidance to enhance program delivery and impact.
  • Prepare regular statutory, narrative and monitoring reports, showcasing program achievements, challenges, and lessons learned for both internal and external audiences.
  • Facilitate all external Project Monitoring and Evaluation process and respond to recommendations.
