Major Responsibilities:
Under the supervision of the Chief of Party, Asia’s Linear Infrastructure safeGuarding Nature (ALIGN) Project, the Program Support Assistant provides programmatic support to the ALIGN project staff, primarily in communication and documentation work.

Coordinates and manages the overall functioning of the ALIGN Project’s office, including logistics support for ALIGN events and travel facilitation of staff in consultation with WWF Nepal administration team. Maintaining a high degree of confidentiality is a requirement of this position.

 

Qualifications:
A Bachelor’s degree in Management, Communication, or a related field with at least two years of prior experience in a similar position or responsibilities is required.

This position requires organizational, multi-tasking skills necessary to coordinate complex events, travel schedule and other executive office activities.

Good English language, communication, and coordination skills to liaise with government and private sector agencies, country (India, Mongolia, Nepal) and regional (US based) teams and the ability to work under pressure is required.

The ideal candidate should have excellent computer skills in MS Office as well as good documentation and Internet research skills. S/he should be a self-starter and a good team player. Programmatic knowledge of conservation, natural resource management and environment safeguards would be desirable.
