- LL.B. degree with 2-4 years of relevant work experience.
- Registered with the Nepal Bar Association.
- Knowledge and understanding of court procedure, contemporary human rights issues, economic, social and cultural rights, and the CSOs landscape in Nepal.
- Excellent drafting skills in Nepali and English, strong legal research skills, and understanding of human rights law. Nepali typing skills are mandatory.
- Ability to plan and deliver training and workshops.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English & Nepali.
- Good planning, supervising, and program development and management skills.
- Ability to interact and develop contacts with key stakeholders, including civil society organisations, legislators and legal service providers.
- High level of proficiency with MS Office and Google Workplace Suite. Efficient in using Wrike/Slack and other database management systems.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team.
- Ability to travel, if required.
