RESPONSIBILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

  • Develop, implement and evaluate assigned programmes/projects etc. 

  • Monitor and analyze programme/project development and implementation; 

  • Review relevant documents and reports. 

  • Identify problems and issues to be addressed and initiate corrective actions; liaises with relevant parties; ensure follow-up actions.

  • Coordinate and collaborate with implementing partners, the project team (province coordinators/ district-based program officers) for the timely implementation of the work plan.

  • Research, analyze and present information gathered from diverse sources.

  • Coordinate policy development, including the review and analysis of issues and trends, preparation of evaluations or other research activities and studies.

  • Generate survey initiatives; design data collection tools; review, analyze and interprete responses, identify problems/issues and prepare conclusions.

  • Organize and prepare written outputs, e.g. draft background papers, analysis, sections of reports and studies, inputs to publications, etc.

  • Initiate and coordinate outreach activities; conduct training workshops, seminars, etc.; make presentations on assigned topics/activities.

  • Coordinate activities related to budget funding (programme/project preparation and submissions, progress reports, financial statements, etc.) and prepare related documents/reports (pledging, work programme, programme budget, etc.).

  • Coordinate Joint Work plans; facilitate monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and reporting.

  • Organize preparation and provision of report to the Government and other stakeholders.

  • Lead or contribute to the design, formulation, and implementation, monitoring and reporting of joint programming processes with the stakeholders.

  • Manage, guide and train staff under his /her supervision; facilitate team work and communication among staff and across organizational boundaries.

  • Manage and monitor the implementation of the UN Trust Fund (where relevant) 

  • Perform any other duties as per the requirement.

 

Academic qualification/skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in development studies, gender studies or related field

  • Atleast 3 years of work experience in related field.

  • Proficient in word processing, excel, spreadsheets and Presentation skills  

  • Time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks

  • Strong commitment to team work with effective communication skills

  • Ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines

  • Aptitude for learning new applications/approaches/methodologie
