Education and Experience:
- Master's degree preferably in Environmental Science, forestry or equivalent
- At least five years of work experience in environmental, biodiversity conservation, and climate change-based project cycle management, having two years of experience on project management.
- Experience in multiple consortium partners handling, biodiversity conservation, IP and LCs, policy advocacy, market development, climate adaptative technologies and practices, and women and IPs empowerment will be value-added.
Skills:
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, notably the ability to present complex issues and required action in a simple, relevant, appropriate, and practical way
- Proficient in remote sensing techniques and adept at handling GIS applications.
- Demonstrated ability to motivate and inspire staff, partners, and other stakeholders with diverse backgrounds
- Team player who can develop strong collaborative relations across the organization, partners, and communities
- Proven experience or interest in organizing and facilitating trainings and workshops
- Good communication skills with fluency [written and spoken] both in Nepali and English
- Ability to work and mobilize the indigenous people and local communities
- Ability to define problems, collect data establish facts, and draw valid conclusions to accurately predicts the achievements of the project objectives.
