Job Purpose:
The Program Coordinator is primarily responsible for overseeing Program Development; Preparation of Proposals: Management of Project Planning, implementation, Operation, Monitoring & Evaluation and Documentation; and for ensuring that the organization’s programs and activities are aligned with the goals and missions of the organization.
- Support planning and coordination of a program and its activities
- Ensure implementation of policies and practices
- Monitor project budget and track expenditures/transactions
- Handle the project related financial administration
- Manage communications through media relations, social media etc.
- Help build positive relations within the team and external parties
- Keep all members of the team up-to-date with relevant project information
- Communicate with team members to ensure maximum efficiency
- Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agenda
- Ensure technology is used correctly for all operations (video conferencing, presentations etc.)
- Prepare paperwork and order material
- Keep updated records and create reports or proposals
- Support growth and program development
- Create presentations, summaries and helping materials to ensure better communication and company-wide understanding of the program
- Establish communication, linkage and networking with different stakeholders, partners and local government
- Monitor and administer program/project revenues and expenses; may develop or participate in the development of funding proposals for the program.
- Write, edit, and coordinate development of catalogs, promotional materials, educational materials, training manuals, newsletters, and/or brochures, as appropriate to the program.
- Maintain program/project records, researches information and gather and compute various data; prepare special and/or one-time reports, summaries, or reply to inquiries, selecting relevant data from a variety of sources.
- May assist with grant and/or proposal writing as appropriate to the objectives and funding nature of the program; may participate in other fundraising activities.
- May perform specialized activities of a programmatic nature in direct support of the accomplishment of program objectives and protocol.
- Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
