What be you’ll doing? 

The production manager is to evaluate all keying staff, ensure turnaround time is met, and maintain a high level of quality as outlined by Smart Data Solutions’ Service Guarantee Policy.

• Oversees all SDS production to ensure Turnaround Time (TAT) and accuracy requirements are met.
• Assist in the development of new applications in conjunction with emerging SDS strategies.
• Provide customer support to resolve problems and answer questions.
• Monitor and maintain all aspects of the movement of claims in and out of SDS processes.
• Communicate with vendors on a daily basis and regularly maintain any procedural changes.
• Providing feedback to clients to ensure that SDS turnaround time is met.
• Maintaining high SDS quality.
• Maintaining security by conducting background checks, through VPN access, changing passwords on a quarterly basis, disabling access to terminated keyers and managing IP address configurations.
• Determining claim volume.
• Adhering to all HIPAA regulation – ensuring all staff (both domestic and international) are HIPAA Compliant.
• Ensuring all information is kept confidential by monitoring workspace and computer workstations to guarantee that no personal information can be accessed.
• Disposing of all Private Healthcare Information (PHI) via a shredder.
• Protecting all PHI exchanged between parties.
• Takes on additional tasks as needed for the continual success of SDS.

Required Skills:

Production Manager should demonstrate a full understanding of all SDS systems. Ability to problem solve and provide applicable input to enhance specific SDS applications.

Business Analysis Skills:

• Strong understanding of the payer market.
• Ability to interpret high-level business processes.
• Strong understanding of SDS workflow and interrelationship of SDS processes.
• Ability to problem solve in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to process high volume of detail.

Communication Skills:

• Display clear and concise written and verbal communication skills. Maintain a polite and courteous communication style with both customers and fellow employees.

Other requirements:

• Availability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
• Understanding of SQL with the ability to write and troubleshoot queries.

Requirements:

• 2 or 4-year technical degree (or equivalent)
• 0-1 year of similar experience
• Experience with technologies listed in the previous section.
