Qualification, Skills and Experience
Required:
- Should have completed Bachelor’s degree in social science, nursing, public health or any other related disciplines
- Cultural sensitivity and the ability to work in diverse communities
- Good team player with excellent interpersonal skills
- Good reporting and communication skills
- Proficiency in Nepali and English languages
- Proficiency in relevant software and documentation tools
- Adherence to ethical guidelines and principles of confidentiality
- Prepare reports and case summaries as required
- Be willing and able to travel to all wards of Godawari Municipality.
Preferable:
- 6 months training on psychosocial counseling from reputed institution
- Experience of working with individuals with Neurodevelopmental disability and their families
- Familiar with Newari language
- Committed to long-term employment and engagement in the role
- Individuals from minority, persons with disabilities, or women will be given priority during the selection process.
Job Description
Major responsibilities:
The PASS-PLUS Counselor will be responsible for following duties but not limited to:
- Prepare, plan, and conduct counseling sessions and reports
- Apply various counseling approaches, Basic counseling principles, and effective counseling skills during sessions
- Efficiently manage counseling cases, including documentation, and facilitating referrals as needed
- Collaborate with the ACNS and NAMASTE team to track and assist with work, task, and project activities
- Participate in supervision sessions in collaboration with the Supervisor
- Establish and maintain coordination with relevant stakeholders and service providers for project implementation within Godawari Municipality.
