REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

Essential: First university degree in Public Health from a recognized University.

Desirable: Knowledge of epidemiology and data analysis and TB surveys.

Experience:

Essential: At least 1 year of experience of working with TB Control in the development and implementation of TB programmes.

Desirable: Familiarity with government structure and procedures and experience working with the government counterparts and familiarity with WHO policies and practices or working experience with WHO or other UN Agencies at the national level is an asset.

Skills:

• Thorough knowledge of Tuberculosis control and the country needs.
• Good administrative knowledge of the ministries and other related department/agencies.
• Demonstrated ability to work in harmony with national/international staff of WHO and MoHP maintaining poise even in a difficult situation.
• Ability to make oral and written presentations on technical issues
• Knowledge in programme planning and implementation.
• Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment.
• Demonstrated ability to work with all types of personalities, especially in difficult situations.
• Proven ability to work under pressure and multitask.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, tact, discretion and diplomacy.
• Technical expertise: Overall attitude at work are also required mandatory competencies.

Computer literacy: word processing, spread sheet and presentation software.
