Minimum Qualification: B.Sc. in Geology or Geoscience (essential).
 

Minimum Experience: At least 3 years in the cement industry.

Responsibilities and Required Skills:

• Responsible for geological evaluation of mineral deposits, mapping, and Petrography analysis and overseeing ongoing production at the mine and developing a gelogical plan to meet short-term grade control requirements.
• Motivating the team to provide ROM to the plant on a consistent basis in compliance with the mining program plan and estimating and reserving resources and developing a mine preparation plan & schedule.
• Overseeing the mining of minerals and ensuring that the process is carried out efficiently and ecologically responsibly and also contributing to and overseeing the preparation of technical reports and documentation.
• Should be familiar with a variety of geospatial software systems and have knowledge in application development languages (ArcObjects, VB, Dot Net, or Java) and database design (SQL or Oracle).
• Practical experience in mining or government enterprises, as well as good communication skills.
