- B.Sc., or M.Sc. in Microbiology, Fresher or 1-2 years experience
- Experience of working in an ISO accredited laboratory and research laboratory.
- Experience of being involved in a randomized controlled trial.
Job Description:
- Responsible for daily management of microbiology laboratory (at specified work site) including specimen reception, handling, laboratory testing and reporting following standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Responsible for applying good clinical laboratory practice (GCLP) guidelines.
- Responsible for molecular testing of clinical specimen and bacterial isolates.
- Support laboratory manager (both of work sites and OUCRUNP) for setting up of quality assurance /quality control (QA/QC) procedures.
- Manage and upgrade bio repository system at OUCRUNP laboratory.
- Responsible for development of SOPs, and study specific laboratory manuals.
- Archiving laboratory documents and records at specified work site and OUCRUNP according to OUCRU document and record control guidelines.
