Personal Qualifications:

To be considered a competitive candidate, candidates should possess:

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering with a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated working experience in renewable energy, particularly in Micro Hydro Power (MHP) design and monitoring in Nepal.  A relevant Master’s degree is preferred.
• Profound understanding of business models, end-uses, planning, policies, acts, regulations, and guidelines for MHP and other renewable energy (RE) technologies.
• Excellent technical skills and hands-on experience in MHP development and operation, including expertise in technical design tools and software, and preparation of BoQ, Cost estimates, tender documents, etc., for MHP projects.
• Ability to establish and nurture relationships with community leaders, government agencies, NGOs, and the private sector.
• Capability to work under time pressure, adapt to shifts in client priorities, and meet unforeseen expectations promptly.
• Strong written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, as demonstrated.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, an Outlook.
• Strong leadership qualities, organizational skills, Personal Qualifications, and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
