A medical sales representative's job is to promote and sell company products. Communicating and interacting with doctors, nurses and pharmacists and maintaining good relationship with the retail sector:
- Superior proficiency in both verbal and written communication skills in English/Nepali is
- requirement for this position.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly advanced knowledge, is required.
- Possession of a valid 2 Wheeler License is necessary.
- The applicant should be willing to travel frequently in the valley as required by the job.

Note :
- The position entails 80% fieldwork and 20% office work.
Job Description:
- Arranging appointments with doctors, pharmacists and hospital medical teams, which may include pre-arranged appointments
- Making presentations to doctors, practice staff, hospital doctors, nurses and pharmacists in the retail sector
- Presentations may take place in medical settings during the day or may be conducted in the evenings
- Generate Sales and Collection on a target basis
- Organizing conferences for doctors and other medical staff
- Building and maintaining positive working relationships with medical staff and supporting administration staff e.g. receptionists
- Keeping detailed records of all contacts and reaching (and if possible exceeding) annual sales targets
- Planning work schedules and weekly and monthly timetables. This may involve working with the area sales team or discussing future targets with the area sales manager
- Regularly attending company meetings, technical data presentations and briefings
- Monitoring competitor activity and competitors' products
- Developing strategies for increasing opportunities to meet and talk to contacts in the medical and health care sector
- Staying informed about the activities of health services in a particular area.
- Should work strategically to increase the awareness and use of a company's pharmaceutical and medical products in settings such as general practices, primary care trusts and hospitals
- Maintaining and providing timely necessary reports.
