Purpose of the Job:

To manage Laboratory department to provide high quality laboratory services through accurate testing procedures, correct analysis, and reliable reports which enable the medical and team to manage patient’s conditions properly.

Required Qualifications, Skills and knowledge:

• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology, with registration at Nepal Professional Health Council (NPHC).
• Must have a minimum of 2 years of clinical work experience.
• Must be able to demonstrate clinical sensitivity and confidentiality.
• Have skills to use automated and technical equipment.
• Good computer knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Email & Internet.
• Experience in using hospital software/systems will be an advantage.
• Prefer experience in budget planning and management.
•  Uses initiative and is able to work under limited supervision.
• Good eyesight to differentiate between colours fine structural differences of microscopic specimens.
• Able to ensure and demonstrate INF Values in work and dealing with others.
