Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media Studies, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field
  • Proven experience in media relations, communication, or public relations, preferably in the travel and tourism industry.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Nepali, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Strong storytelling and content creation abilities, with a keen eye for detail and creativity.
  • Proficient in using social media platforms, content management systems, and design software.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing techniques and tools to maximise reach and engagement.
  • Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with media professionals and industry stakeholders
  • Knowledge of the travel and tourism industries in Nepal is a plus.

 

Other Specification:

  • Should be a Nepali National
  • Should be of age below 35 years.
  • Should have competence in computer skills, especially in English and Nepali typing and preparing presentations.
  • Should be fluent in English (written and oral).

 

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive media and communication strategies to enhance NATTA's brand visibility and reputation.
  • Create engaging content for various channels, including press releases, articles, newsletters, websites, and social media platforms.
  • Manage and update NATTA's social media accounts, ensuring regular and relevant content dissemination.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers to maximize coverage of NATTA's activities.
  • Coordinate media interviews, press conferences, and events, ensuring accurate and positive representation of NATTA's goals and achievements.
  • Monitor media coverage and industry trends, preparing reports and analyses for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels.
  • Assist in organizing and promoting NATTA's events, workshops, and conferences through effective communication strategies.
  • Provide media and communication support to NATTA members, addressing their queries and assisting in their promotional activities.
