Job Location: Saptari – Rajbiraj

The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration of one year. There are very good prospects for an extension. Employment location will be Saptari, Nepal. The position is paid according to WHH nepal paygrade.

Your responsibilities

• Support to develop MEAL plan and tools in coordination with program team.
• Develop project MEAL calendar as per WHH’s standards.
• Support to develop ToR/SoPs for project study and evaluation as per WHH’s standards and guidelines.
•  Conduct annual survey and data analysis for annual reporting.
• Support the M&E process in assigned projects and programmes; support the “success measurement/#ms” of projects and review and reflect results with projects.
• Carry out the regular field monitoring of project and program intervention and produce reports on prescribed format, conduct debrief session with relevant project and partner staff and develop action plan for follow up.
• Support to collect measuring success indicators data (Qualitative) and prepare the report to share with project team and county office.
• Lead the project data management system supporting to partner organization and ensure the data are entered in system with quality.
• Conduct regular data quality assessment for log frame and reach data, based on agreed indicators to guide the decision-making process.
• Support the project team in extracting learning question and lesson learnt, good practices and case studies coordinating with communication officer and project team to demonstrate the changes.
• Support to roll out the accountability and FCRM system at partner level and ensure the information is shared with participation as per WHH’s standard and guideline.
•  Support project team to finalize the quarterly and annual narrative report.
•  Develop a plan for project-related capacity development on MEAL; organize and undertake training for project and implementing partner staff, local organisations and primary stakeholders.
•  To assist in reviewing data bases and data tracking tools of diverse projects in order to maintain data quality for collating reliable and consistent data which meets minimum reporting requirements of donors and WHH
• Perform other duties related to the job as assigned by the supervisor and the leadership team.

Your profile

• At least bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, development studies, public health or any other social science related field.
• At least three years of monitoring evaluation, accountability and learning experience in WASH and development projects preferably with INGOs.
• With expertise in databases, MS Office and other analysis software such as SPSS
• Ability to work in a challenging environment.
• Good Interpersonal and Communication skills in a culturally diverse setting
• Proficient in report writing and documentation.
• Knowledge of the local languages in the assigned area will be an added advantage.
