Job Description:
- Sound financial analytical skills and commercial awareness
- Manage a backup recovery engineering team and/or outside consultants to architect and design enterprise backup and recovery solutions within business and commercial guidelines
- Raise required ServiceNow tickets, Request for Services (Rfs) and liaise with external vendors (e.g IBM, HP) to conduct analysis on DR capabilities of applications, perform DR test execution, provide test documentation and post-DR issues analysis and resolution, and Retests of failed applications
- Maintains a library of recovery support documentation, emergency response documentation, and exercise (testing) documentation
- Acts as the Recovery Coordinator in an emergency situation
- Negotiates and maintains contractual relationships with vendors related to business recovery and resumption.
