Maintenance Engineer - Print and Packaging

Job Description
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks on printing and packaging machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic issues with machinery, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions as needed.
- Conduct routine inspections of machinery and equipment, identifying areas for improvement and recommending upgrades or modifications to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely and costeffective service delivery.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, including work orders, equipment manuals, and spare parts inventory, to track maintenance activities and facilitate planning.
- Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure compliance with safety regulations and manufacturer recommendations.
- Train and mentor junior maintenance staff on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to optimize equipment performance, address production challenges, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in maintenance and equipment reliability to drive innovation and efficiency in the division.
Job Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in maintenance engineering, preferably in the printing or packaging industry.
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Flexible and mobility according to company requirements.
- Problem solving and decision making.
- knowledge of CAD software like AutoCAD.
