Other Specification:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Social Science, Public Health, Development Studies, or related subjects. 

  • At least 2 years direct work experience in a project in the capacity of M&E related responsibility.
  • Advance knowledge/training in IT (information technology)
  • Strong familiarity with software, such as Database and operating systems, MS Office, Internet & Intranet
  • Competent and proficient understanding of platforms, such as international M&E practices
  • Excellent Nepali and English communication skills (written and oral)
  • Strong skills in programmatic data analysis, report writing, and documentation. 
  • Work closely with the senior staff for M&E of projects. 
  • Provide support in preparing the communication materials for the projects.
  • Flexible during times of change
  • Persuasive, encouraging, and motivating
  • Ability to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, right holders, and other projects
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment is crucial

Work Conditions:

  • Extended working hours. Overtime may be required to meet project deadlines
  • Some travel may be required for the purpose of meeting with right holders, stakeholders, or off-site personnel/management.

 

Specific Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Developing a monitoring and evaluation framework for projects to ensure their outcomes are achieved.
  • Monitor all project activities and progress towards achieving the project outcomes
  • Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and partners in a timely and clear fashion
  • Arrange data collection, compilation, analysis, interpretation of data received from different sources and use them for monitoring.
  • Review the process and outcome of quarterly, half yearly and annual performance reviews
  • Monitor and supervise program activities to ensure that they are implemented as per plan and with highest standard   
  • Analyze program data, monthly track the achievements against target and provide feedback and share the progress to program team and partners.
  • Prepare presentations on the progress Program/achievements required for different meeting and forums
  • Conduct supporting monitoring/supervision visits to program districts, interact with service providers and beneficiaries (as required), and document progress against the set targets, share and ensure follow-up actions for improved program results 
  • Provide technical/ facilitation support to organization to implement the event/ activities in the districts as per the organizational norms and policies and program implementation guidelines
  • Make field trips to ensure timely completion of quality data collection and program implementation 
  • Collect periodic outcome level data and information and provide analysis
  • Lead the learning component of the project – learn, share and communicate with concerned stakeholders for sustaining impact, visibility and adaptation of the project components.
  • Follow the Safeguarding Policy and all the other policies of the ogranisation and comply at all level
  • Perform any other duties as required or requested by line manage.
