What we are looking for:

 The position is under Logistic and fleet team, the team which ensures that Oxfam in Nepal has quality logistics management functions in place with the high level of technical and logistic capacity to support programs and projects, proactively provide business-focused and result-oriented quality professional and technical services to the Nepal country program. Contributes towards developing logistics Management capabilities in Oxfam and its partner organizations. In case of humanitarian emergencies, to ensure scale up and to respond rapidly to major the humanitarian emergencies and development requirements and ready to respond to major humanitarian programme.

• Bachelors’ degree in logistics or business administration or on relevant field.

• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in I/NGOS in logistics management and experience in humanitarian, development programmes and security aspects.

• Diplomacy, tact and negotiating skills.

• Proven knowledge of computerized systems and demonstrable experience of working with computerized accounting packages and spreadsheets;

• Flexibility under pressure and in response to changing needs.

• Good experience in purchasing, warehousing, asset/ equipment, administration and fleet management.

• Ability to prioritise own workload, can follow instructions under limited supervision

• Sound knowledge of related local laws and statutory requirements.

• Sensitivity to cultural differences, and the ability to work in a wide variety

• Sensitivity to gender and diversity issues in work practices.

• Good written and communication skills. Fluency in English

• Ability to keep clear and concise records.
