Position Summary: IT Officer is responsible for resolving help desk issues for smooth and effective function of Head Office and all QFX Cinemas.

Aptitude / Interest: Inquisitive about hardware, network, and system administration contributing to a modern and inclusive work culture.

Professional Pre-requisites

• Maintain essential IT operations, including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software and hardware
• Provide support in Linux, Windows, Mac OS, and widely used software
• One year experience in similar position.

Areas of Responsibility

• Resolve issues in software and hardware and provide physical support for hardware.
• Monitor network switches and access points.
• Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required data
• Define roles and provide user access to internal systems as required.
• Assess the vulnerability of hardware and software and suggest appropriate corrective actions.
• Train and enforce system policies to end users.
• Research, suggest, and Implement hardware/software to monitor servers, network end devices, or any requirements of the Head Office and Facilities.

Preferences

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, System Administration, or a closely related field, or equivalent
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Two-wheeler license and vehicle.

Note: Should be available on Saturdays and Public Holidays and willing to travel outside Kathmandu Valley.
