Overview:

• Corporate Position: Junior Assistant to Senior Assistant.
• Education: Minimum BIT or any other related discipline from recognized university
• Location: Head Office
• Experience: At least one year and two years of experience in a commercial bank/related field in the area of IT Support and Operations for Junior Assistant and Assistant/Senior Assistant.
• Age: Not exceeding 30 years for experienced candidates as of September 13, 2023.

Minimum requirement:

• Proficiency in Windows and Linux based operating systems.
• Strong foundation in technical skills related to operating systems, networking, database management, and security protocols.
• Knowledge of Oracle-based database systems, including skills in developing reports and query building using SQL and PL/SQL.
• Sound understanding of Finacle CBS and third-party services.
• Familiarity with industry security best practices and understanding of potential threats and vulnerabilities.
• General understanding of basic accounting and knowledge of the banking sector.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and diagnose issues, propose solutions, and implement them.
• Understanding of C/C++, Java, or any scripting languages preferred.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Job Responsibilities:

• Conduct EOD/BOD processes and monitor process logs.
• Assist in the installation, configuration, and maintenance of hardware and software systems in the banking IT environment.
• Provide technical support for software applications and IT infrastructure.
• Monitor CBS health and report irregularities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to banking systems, networks, and applications.
• Track logs and maintain daily reports of activities and changes in CBS and applications used by bank.
• Provide operational and functional support for the CBS, banking systems and IT environment.
