• Proficiency in Java, C#, ASP. NET and its associated frameworks and extensions such as Spring Boot, CXF, Entity framework.
• Hand on experience on MS-SQL including query creation, debugging, tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery. Experience with React Native/React JS would be advantageous.
• Sound knowledge of Object-Oriented programming and familiarity with common design and architecture patterns.
• Familiarity with Azure, and/or other public cloud solutions would be advantageous.

Experience Required: More than or equalssto 1-year, experience in software development will be preferred.

Educational Description: Bachelor’s in computer engineering or equivalent.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, and develop backend, mobile or web-based applications to support MetLife’s business and digitization initiatives in Nepal.
• Work closely with internal product teams to build enhancements, new features and capabilities on MetLife Nepal applications, solutions, and platforms.
• Evaluate existing applications and perform updates and modifications.
• Design, enhancement and tuning of database tables, stored procedures, triggers, scheduler, etc.
• Develop technical documents and handbooks to accurately represent application design and code.
• Troubleshoot and debug applications.
• Monitor system performance and job logs.
