Job Description:

 

Position Overview:

We are looking for a highly skilled and dedicated HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Manager to join our construction company. As the HSE Manager, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and overseeing health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure a safe and compliant work environment on construction sites. Your expertise will be instrumental in promoting a strong safety culture, preventing accidents, and minimizing risks throughout the organization.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • HSE Program Development: Develop and implement comprehensive HSE programs and policies in line with industry regulations, best practices, and company guidelines.
  • Safety Compliance: Monitor and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations and construction industry standards.
  • Risk Assessment: Identify potential HSE risks and hazards at construction sites and implement measures to prevent accidents and incidents.
  • Training and Education: Provide HSE training to employees, contractors, and subcontractors to enhance safety awareness and best practices.
  • Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations of workplace incidents, accidents, and near-misses, analyzing root causes and recommending corrective actions.
  • Safety Inspections: Regularly inspect construction sites to ensure compliance with safety protocols, identify safety deficiencies, and implement corrective measures.
  • Emergency Response: Develop and implement emergency response plans for construction sites, ensuring all personnel are trained and aware of procedures.
  • Safety Culture: Promote a strong safety culture within the organization by organizing safety campaigns, awareness programs, and recognition initiatives.
  • HSE Reporting: Prepare and submit regular HSE reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and recommending improvement strategies.
  • Environmental Management: Oversee environmental management programs to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and promote sustainability.
  • Incident Documentation: Maintain accurate records of HSE-related incidents, inspections, and training sessions for compliance and reporting purposes.
  • Contractor HSE Management: Evaluate the HSE performance of contractors and subcontractors, ensuring they adhere to HSE policies and standards.
