Job Description:

  • As a Hostel Incharge, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the residential facility, ensuring the safety, well-being, and comfort of the students living in the hostel.
  • Creating a conducive and supportive environment within the hostel that promotes students' physical, emotional, and academic growth. Addressing any concerns, conflicts, or issues that arise among the residents.
  • Managing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, including room assignments, meal plans, housekeeping, maintenance, and enforcing hostel rules and regulations.
  • Ensuring that the hostel meets safety standards and regulations. Organizing regular fire drills, health check-ups, and taking immediate action in case of emergencies.
  • Regularly updating parents or guardians about their child's well-being and progress in the hostel. Addressing any queries or concerns they might have regarding their child's residential experience.
  • Providing guidance, counseling, and support to students, especially those who might be dealing with homesickness, academic stress, or personal challenges.
