Education/Experience/Language requirements:

Education:

• Completion of Secondary education is required.
• A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Gender Equality, Social Science, Development Studies, Community Development, or other relevant discipline is desirable (but not required) and may compensate for some of the required years of experience.

Work Experience:

• With a high school diploma, a minimum of 6 years of experience in gender-related issues, administration, and social safeguards or other related fields is required.
• Experience working with the Cities Alliance, UN agencies or other donor agencies, government ministries, and/or non-governmental organizations (NGOs) is an asset.
• Experience in working with the G-suite platform including Google Drive, Google Calendar, Gmail, Google Sheets, Docs, and Slides is an asset.
• Work experience in the national context of Nepal is highly desirable.

Language:

• Fluency in oral and written Nepalese and English is required.
