Position overview:
The Head of Operations is a senior management position responsible for overseeing the operational activities of a multistore pharmacy chain. The role involves ensuring that the pharmacy's day-to-day operations run smoothly and efficiently, while also contributing to the development and implementation of the company's overall business strategy.

Qualifications:
- Education: University Masters’ degree preferably in Management
- Experience: Minimum 5 years in retail operations
- Retail administration experience: Minimum 3 years in a similar position in retail operations. Demonstrated leadership and coordination/collaboration experience
Competencies:
- Core: Strong knowledge of retail operations- both in physical and virtual settings-business development, inventory management, human resources, procurement and financial management.
- Content Knowledge: Good understanding of inventory planning and distribution, negotiation, and operation scheduling.
- Leadership: Ability to take initiatives and plan and deliver appropriate activities.
- Personality: Highly enthusiastic and inquisitive personality with a positive attitude.
- Management: Excellent time management, people management, and resource management skills.
- Communication and Networking: Excellent communication, interpersonal, networking, and skill of presentation and delivering interactive sessions.
- Teamwork: Ability to work with different teams and lead them towards organizational goals as well as different team objectives.
- IT skills: email communication/scheduling, project management, ERP, office applications, general cloud applications.
- Branding: Good understanding of online and onsite branding
- Motivation: Self-motivated with a flexible approach to work, commitment to success, and ownership for personal development.
- Impact and results orientation: Proactive in problem-solving, mentors in-house team, sets targets, and inspires to achieve them.
- Reporting: Skill of scheduled report writing both in concise and detailed form.
Duty Station:
The duty station is Sanepa, Lalitpur with frequent travel within stores in Kathmandu and Lalitpur.
