Job Description
- Lead the FMCG division and take full responsibility for all matters related to the industry including underlying categories, operational, financial and technological matters
- Build roadmaps for the FMCG industry to grow the category for sustainable growth while at the same time have robust plans for quick wins on short term targets
- Lead comprehensive understanding of plan-o-gram insights and assortment to help identify and drive strategic sales opportunities. customer growth objectives, price point analyses and enhanced customer engagement
- Map, strategize and mobilize untapped markets for FMCG within the defined regions with a specific inclination towards brands, retail and international markets
- Actively grow business by driving category teams to implement strategic initiatives and processes to reach business plan goals
- Develop and execute project plans for the launch of new brands, products and segments
- Collaborate with departments and channels across the organization to deliver on targets
- Proactively develop collaborative relationships with our brand and seller partners to be viewed as a trusted resource for category insights and objective growth opportunities
- Proactively builds insights to help educate and influence sales strategy at an internal organizational level with a specific focus towards marketing and operations
- Enable internal and external stakeholders to maximize sales on Daraz more in a consultative approach, using data trends to drive engagement and product innovation
- Actively lead and participate in preparation of line reviews, re-occurring category reviews, Joint Business Plan, and Top to Top meetings.
Requirements
- Masters Degree from any reputed institute
- At least 5 to 7 Years of experience in related field, prior experience in FMCG will be a plus,
- Excellent Data Analytical Skills
- Ability to function well in a fast-paced work environment by managing priorities with short deadlines
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive and manage cross-functional teams and cross-cultural stakeholders
- Prior experience in Team Handling / Management with strong communication and collaboration skills.
