Responsibilities:

 

Student Visa Application Review:

  • Review and evaluate student visa applications to ensure compliance with the Genuine Temporary Entrant requirement.
  • Assess the genuineness of students' intentions to study abroad by considering factors such as their academic background, career goals, ties to their home country, and financial capacity.
  • Conduct thorough interviews and gather necessary documentation to support the assessment process.
  • Collaborate with students and their families to clarify any doubts or concerns related to the visa application process.

 

Guidance and Counselling:

  • Provide comprehensive guidance and counselling to students regarding the student visa application process, including the Genuine Temporary Entrant requirement.
  • Educate students about the importance of compliance with immigration regulations and the potential consequences of non-compliance.
  • Assist students in preparing the necessary documentation, such as academic transcripts, financial statements, and letters of intent.
  • Offer support and advice to students on maintaining their visa status and complying with relevant conditions throughout their study period.

 

Liaison and Collaboration:

  • Act as a liaison between the education consultancy, students, and relevant immigration authorities.
  • Stay updated on the latest immigration policies, procedures, and requirements to ensure accurate and up-to-date guidance for students.
  • Collaborate with other team members, including counsellors and administrative staff, to streamline the visa application process and ensure a smooth experience for students.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partner institutions and immigration officials to enhance the effectiveness of the visa application process.

 

Compliance and Record-Keeping:

  • Ensure adherence to immigration regulations and ethical standards in all aspects of the student visa application process.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of student interactions, visa applications, and related documentation.
  • Stay informed about changes in immigration policies and procedures, and update internal processes accordingly.
  • Protect the confidentiality of student information and maintain data security in accordance with relevant regulations.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 2 years of experience managing GTE requirements for international students intending to study in Australia, Canada and a few other popular countries.
  • Thorough understanding of visa regulations and requirements, particularly the GTE process for Australia,Canada and a few other popular countries.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and precision when handling documentation and records.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in using relevant software applications and databases.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks simultaneously, and meet deadlines.
  • Sensitivity to cultural differences and a strong commitment to providing exceptional customer service to a diverse range of clients.
