Job Description:

  •  Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including R&D, marketing, and production, to develop new food products conducting research on market trends, consumer preferences, and competitive products to identify opportunities for innovation. 
  • Create and test prototypes, experimenting with ingredients, flavors, and processing techniques modifying existing recipes to improve taste, texture, and nutritional content.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures to ensure product consistency and safety.
  • Conduct sensory evaluations and quality tests to monitor product attributes and compliance with specifications.
  • Investigate and address any quality issues or consumer complaints collaborating with regulatory authorities to ensure products meet all relevant food safety and labeling requirements.
  • Work closely with the production team to scale up recipes and optimize manufacturing processes providing technical guidance on ingredient sourcing, storage, and handling.
  • Evaluate and select suppliers for raw materials and ingredients monitoring and maintaining supplier relationships, ensuring consistent quality and timely deliveries.
  • Maintain detailed records of product development, specifications, and quality control data also preparing and submitting required documentation for regulatory approvals and certifications.
  • Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes identifying opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and product enhancements.
  • Train and educate production staff on food safety protocols and quality standards collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve product development goals.
