Requirements and Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelors in public health or social science or development related fields;
  • Minimum of 3-4 years relevant project implementation and report writing experience in a professional environment, preferable in development/health sector;
  • Candidates worked in recovery programs and disaster risk management will be highly prioritized.
  • Experience of working in the hill area of Nepal and is acquainted with the local context.
  • Excellent command of spoken of local language.
  • Good social mobilization, motivation and community sensitization skills.
  • Computer Literacy- Words, Excel, Access.
  • Acts as a team player and facilitates teamwork
  • Excellent verbal communication/facilitation skills
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to establish working relations with target communities and project team
  • Two wheeler diving licence will be an added advantage.
  • Candidates from the project areas are preferred
  • Applicants from marginalized community, dalit, janajati, madhesi, women and local residents are highly recommended to apply.
