Job Description:

Department:  Food and Beverage 
Reports To: Restaurant In-charge
Responsible For: Responsible to promote and ensure guest satisfaction, maintain a safe and sanitary work environment and ensure only the highest quality products are being served. 

General Description:

Establishes rapport with guests to build guest loyalty and gather constructive feedback to ensure satisfaction of every individual guest. 

Key Functions:

• Assists guest with table reservation.
• Set tables according to type of event and service standards
• Has a good knowledge of menu and presentation standards.
• Able to answer any questions regarding menu and assist with menu selection.
• Communicate with the kitchen regarding any menu questions, the length of wait and product availability. 
• Check with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and beverages.
• Present accurate bill to the table.
• Perform shift closing on the point of sales and tally cash and credit card settlements. 
• Completes the daily responsibilities.
• Perform as a duty roster.
• Set the responsibilities of each staffs.

Key Performance Measures (KPI’s):

• Front of the house always need to be clean such as counter, menu card, telephone.
• Submit timely inventory reports of from of the house.
• Collecting guest feedback from every table and address customer complaints.
• Attend to special guests (e.g. VIPs) and answer their inquiries.
• Anticipate guest needs and build rapport with customers.
• Record information in the logbook daily.
