Job Description:

• Present lessons in a comprehensive manner and use visual/audio means to facilitate learning
• Provide individualized instruction to each student by promoting interactive learning
• Create and distribute educational content (notes, summaries, assignments etc.)
• Assess, record and monitor students’ progress and provide grades and feedback
• Maintain a tidy and orderly classroom
• Collaborate with other teachers, staff and parents and participate in regular meetings
• Plan and execute educational in-class and outdoor activities and events
• Help develop students oratory skills
• Observe and understand students’ behavior and psyche and report suspicions of neglect, abuse etc.
• Develop and enrich professional skills and knowledge by attending trainings, workshops etc.

Job Specification:

• Master’s Degree in English with minimum 2 years of teaching experience
• Thorough understanding of current trends in teaching methods and practices with a willingness to follow Schools’ policies and procedures
• Strong command in written & spoken English with good knowledge of computer
• Well organized, committed and able to maintain a high standard of professional conduct
• Respect towards diversity of school community
• Preference given to candidates with additional degree in Education (B.Ed / M.Ed).
