Job Description
- Collect and analyze information to write news stories and activities for the publication including the website.
- Gather and verify factual information regarding news, observation and research writing.
- Organize materials and write story according to the prescribed editorial policy format and standards.
- Co-ordinate with the designers to place the news and article in the correct page.
- Upgrade personal knowledge, skill and competencies.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the supervisor.
- Prepares/develops news reports and analytical articles (including news commentary on occasional events and activities).
- Coordinates with peer functions such as English editorial teams, the Marketing Department, Technical Department, Account, Tax Department to verify the content and refine the content.
- Make sure the writing is easy to read and fits the publication’s editorial style with attractive headlines and subheads appropriate.
- Crosschecking/reconfirming with the reporter/writer
Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Journalism.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in the English Journalism field.
- Understanding of business/economic / finance/accounting.
- Excellent command of the English language.
