Purpose of the Job:
The job holder will provide triage of ear outpatients, offer basic diagnostic ear services and arrange referrals for audiology and other investigations and therapies before doctor review. The job holder will offer simple ear therapies, ear syringing, dressings, and ear micro-suction, also support medical staff in health camps and teach patients basic ear care. The job holder will develop a network of services with other primary healthcare organisations health volunteers, and government schools and create and run screening and awareness programs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Health Assistant, experience with people with ear conditions or hearing loss or in ENT clinics.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in health care.
• Highly interested in teaching local health personnel, the community, and the students about the Ear and their Care.
• High motivation to work in community-based activities.
• Good written and spoken Nepali and English.
