Job Description
- Achieve dealership targets for sales, gross profit, customer satisfaction, and employee engagement
- Maintain high standards of ethical behavior when representing the dealership to customers, vendors, and the community
- Foster a team environment that is focused on the customer and committed to achieving excellence
- Lead by example in all areas of customer service, product knowledge, and selling skills
- Develop and implement strategies to attract and retain customers
- Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities
- Maximize profitability by effectively managing expenses
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations
- Maintain inventory at optimal levels to meet customer demand
- Negotiate pricing and terms with manufacturers, suppliers, and other business partners
- Prepare and deliver monthly sales reports to upper management
- Participate in the development and implementation of marketing plans.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor/Master’s Degree in business, marketing, or related field
- Must have 4-6 years of experience in dealer sales.
- Proven track record of success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
- Strong understanding of the car-buying process
- Excellent negotiation skills
- Outstanding leadership, communication, and people management skills.
