Job Description:
- Own and oversee end-to-end operational functions of Cross Border business
- Collaborate with international logistics partners to achieve best-in-class delivery lead times and costs through optimized processes
- Work on key projects and initiatives to improve and streamline Cross Border operations
- Coordinate and work closely with commercial teams, customer/seller support teams to understand pain points in the entire journey and provide the most feasible solutions to improve customer/seller experience
- Maintaining & improving main KPIs such as Lead Time, Productivity, and Compliance, and working on reducing losses and damages
- Conduct and lead productive discussions with all cross-functional teams to understand the problem and provide solutions
- Develop guidelines, SOPs and develop mechanisms to ensure such guidelines are followed by the relevant stakeholders
- Coordinate and work closely with the regional team on all the process improvement initiatives and productivity improvement projects along with new product requests
- Working with the COO and other heads to fulfill the company strategy, business priorities, and targets of cross-border operations
- Plan and anticipate resources to maintain efficient on-ground activity and accommodate high volumes (especially during campaigns)
- Measures performance, provides feedback and holds team members accountable for their performance and the performance of their departments
- Work with partners and authorities to control delays that may occur during the logistic fulfillment process
- Drive root cause analysis and reporting on operational and regulatory compliance-related issues
- Lead initiatives to ensure regulatory and SOP compliance for cross-border operations
- Drive change through the creation of frameworks to deliver business transformation geared towards the sustainability of the cross-border business
- Drive project management, providing expertise and support in the initiation, planning, execution, transition, and closure of projects
- Assists leadership in data analysis to support decision-making and the development of improved operational models, processes, systems.
Requirements:
- Preferred experience of 3-5 Years in International Trade Operations/logistics/Supply chain or e-commerce
- Minimum bachelor’s degree from an accredited Top tier Engineering and Business School (Master's preferred)
- Strong interpersonal, research, and analytic skills
- Good knowledge of Excel is a must
- Ambitious and always strives to provide the best experience and result oriented
- Problem-solving skills and analytical skills
- Know how to manage priorities and work with short times
- Highly adaptable to quickly changing environment
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills to drive and manage cross-functional teams and cross-cultural stakeholder.
