- Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates for hydropower projects, including capital costs, operational expenses, and maintenance costs.
- Budget Development: Collaborate with project managers and engineers to develop project budgets, ensuring that cost estimates align with project goals and objectives.
- Vendor and Supplier Engagement: Work with suppliers and contractors to obtain pricing and cost data for materials, equipment, and services.
- Data Analysis: Analyze historical project data and industry benchmarks to refine cost estimates and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Risk Assessment: Identify and quantify potential cost risks and uncertainties and develop mitigation strategies.
- Reporting: Generate detailed cost reports and financial forecasts to support project decision-making and funding applications.
- Cost Control: Monitor project costs throughout the project lifecycle, identify variances from the budget, and provide recommendations for cost control.
