• Edit and check the copy for spelling and grammatical mistakes and execute short ideas.
• Oversee the layout, appearance and content of business articles.
• Check facts in stories to ensure accuracy.
• Write headlines that capture the essence of the story.
• Provide necessary support and assistance to subordinates in news editing
• Liaison with reporters or journalists clarify facts and details about the stories and articles.

Qualification

• Graduate degree in English or Mass Communication
• Minimum of 3-5 years of work experience

Requirement/Skills

• Should have excellent command over English.
• Able to spot and correct grammatical and other mistakes.
• Ability to cope with the work pressure
• Should have good news sense and be computer savvy.
• Must establish priorities and balance a desire for perfection with the necessity to follow deadlines.
• Willing to work in the night shift.
