What is your role like?

A content manager oversees the overall content and executes the content strategy that is engaging and in line with the business goals. The responsibilities include liaising with other teams for content ideas and managing the content team.

 

Some major deliverables:

  • Plan and execute a content strategy that drives website traffic, and engagement and meets business goals.
  • Manage a team of content writers to create new and update existing content.
  • Help hire future content writers into the business when needed.
  • Provide guidance in developing the content team in their skills and careers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and adjust the content strategy as needed
  • Continuously improve the content team processes to achieve greater effectiveness i.e decrease effort and time to publish high-quality content.

 

What will you be working on?

You will be working on a variety of marketing assets such as our Australian Websites, In-house Software, Australian Media Communications, Marketing Assets, etc

 

What experience/skills do you need?

  • Minimum 4 years of content writing experience
  • People management experience
  • Strong understanding of content marketing
  • Strategic thinking/planning
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Results-focused and Great attitude
  • Ability to conceive new content ideas.
