Essential qualifications, skills and experience:

•  At least 3-5 years successful and proven record in a leadership Press/PR/Communications role.
• Bachelor’s degree in any field
• A good awareness of communications activities as well as experience of designing and implementing communications activities, including campaigns, social media, dealing with journalists. Experience of producing media content. Ideally a communications related qualification or equivalent experience in a communications role.

Language requirements:

Language: Nepali and English

Level of language required: Excellent spoken and written required for both.

Desirable qualifications, skills and experience: Past experience in a similar organisation (eg NGO, Embassy, Government or media organisation) or of media work including journalism or digital media would be helpful for the role as well as an understanding of Nepal’s media landscape.
