Qualification and Experience:

• Minimum Bachelors Degree in Computer Engineering/ Information Technology/ Information Management/ Computer Science. Preference will be given to those who have completed Master’s Degree in any stream

• Minimum 5 years in the related field in managerial position. Preference will be given to those having experience in banking, payment systems and digital financial services.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Coordination with the software development team for continuous improvement in the software product life cycle
• Managing teams of technicians, system engineers and other IT staff for installations, upgrades and configurations of hardware and software as well as resolve any issues escalated by them
• Monitor performance of information technology systems to determine cost and productivity levels, and to make recommendations for improving the IT infrastructure
• Monitor and help upgrade IT infrastructure strategy, architecture, and processes
• Defining the technology solution and environment road maps to ensure capacity and scalability, as demand and usage evolve within the business
• Working with Key Technology Partners to ensure the implementation of relevant protocols, standards and regulatory guidelines
• Assess and ensure IT systems are secure, consistent, reliable and recommend improvements
• Facilitate data backup and system security operations
• Analyze and perform technical risk management and develop risk mitigation plan for the technical and operational success of the company
• Liaising with key IT partners to quantify and communicate the impacts, trade-offs, risks, costs, benefits and opportunities of IT solutions from an architectural perspective
• Develop actionable technological strategies and plans that ensure alignment with short-term and long-term objectives developed in tandem with the management committee
• Promote a growth oriented, positive and encouraging IT environment while keeping employees and management accountable to company policies, procedures and guidelines
• Adhere to approved budget and cost control mechanism
• Coordination with software development vendors, telecommunication companies and other stakeholders
• Develop and implement IT related policies, technology innovation best practices and trends
• Ensure that the company’s mobile financial service is fully updated and functioning
• Take responsibility for the entire mobile wallet platform and other systems of the company and maintain database and generate required reports.
