• Provide inspired leadership company-wide.
• Make high-level decisions about policy and strategy.
• Report to the board of directors and keep them informed.
• Develop and implement operational policies and a strategic plan.
• Act as the primary spokesperson for the company.
• Develop the company’s culture and overall company vision.
• Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
• Create an environment that promotes great performance and positive morale.
• Oversee the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Work with senior stakeholders, chief financial officer, chief information officer, and other executives.
• Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Work with the executive board to determine values and mission, and plan for short and long-term goals.
• Identify and address problems and opportunities for the company.
• Build alliances and partnerships with other organizations.
• Oversee the day-to-day operation of the company.
• Work closely with the human resource department to ensure great hiring.

Job Requirements

• Masters' Degree in the subject of Economics/ Commerce/ Finance/ Accounts/ Business with a minimum of 10 years of experience in the fields of Accountancy/ Finance/ Management within the area of industry/ Commerce/ Capital Market/ Banking and Financial Institutions.
• Minimum working experience in a Managerial position with a leadership role for 5 years.
• Preference will be given to candidates with a professional certification such as CA, ACCA, CPA CFA.
• Profound expertise in Nepalese Capital Markets, Banking Procedures, Financial Analysis, Research, Portfolio Management, Mutual Fund Management, Treasury, Securities Trading Corporate Advisory, Due-diligence, fundraising and other investment banking procedures.
• Experience in credit analysis for projects in BFIs will also be an added advantage for candidates.
• Preference will be given to applicants who have expertise and exposure in the domain of investment banking and Private Equity/ Venture Capital.
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, as well as strategic thinking ability.
• Proactive leadership qualities, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to establish and sustain long-term business growth for the organization, as well as the ability to foresee trends and capitalize on new opportunities as they arise, are required.
• Proven track record of working at policy level and strategic level decision making.
• Strong negotiation and management skills related to stakeholder management.
