Qualifications and Skills
- Have a relevant qualification in civil or mechanical engineering or an architectural discipline
- Fully competent using 2D AutoCAD.
- Competent in CorelDraw/Photoshop or similar graphics packages
- Experience of 3D Solid Modelling is useful but not essential
- IELTS B1 English language written & spoken
- A working knowledge of a drawing office environment and quality systems
- Experience from a consultancy or bespoke contractor would be useful
- You will need to have a practical “hands on” approach, be well organised and have excellent communication skills.
Job Description
- Outline design and layout of Renewable Energy projects and their components
- Experienced with map work and geo-referencing e.g. ARC GIS / QGIS
- Visualisation of structures using modern graphics software
- Liaison with Co-ordinators and project engineers
- Ensure drawings are of the highest quality standards.
Shift Work
- The post will be required to undertake some shift work (early or late)
- Weekend work will be required regularly
- Overtime will be paid where appropriate.
