Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive business development plans aligned with Khalti’s overall strategic objectives.
- Identify, qualify, and pursue potential partners, including merchants, businesses, organizations, and government entities.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring favorable terms and maximizing mutual benefits for Khalti.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with existing partners, fostering ongoing collaboration, growth, and satisfaction.
- Track and analyze sales performance data, identifying areas for improvement, optimizing strategies, and driving revenue growth.
- Conduct in-depth market research, stay abreast of industry trends, and analyze competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide effective leadership and guidance to the business development team, ensuring alignment with goals, fostering a culture of high performance, and providing mentorship and coaching.
- Set clear KPIs for the team, monitor individual performance, and provide regular feedback to drive continuous improvement.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, or a related field.
- 7+ years of proven experience in business development, with a successful record of accomplishment of identifying, qualifying, and closing strategic partnerships in the FinTech or digital payments industry.
- Exceptional negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport, influence key decision-makers, and present compelling proposals.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify market trends, assess potential opportunities, and develop effective strategies.
- Proficient in Gmail Suite and CRM software.
