Position summary:
The Associate Programme Coordinator (APC) will be responsible to oversee, manage, monitor, evaluate and ensure the timely progress, deliverables and reporting of the department’s academic/ research/ publication/promotional-related functions. The candidate should have proficiency in planning and executing the overall branding strategies, placement strategies, in-reach/ outreach strategies, visits/tours and exposure strategies, workshops/ seminars/ conferences for the BTTM Program.
The APC will be accountable and report to the Program Coordinator- BTTM and the Principal of the college.
Required Qualifications and Experiences:
- Master’s Degree in Tourism Management or relevant subject with first division from a reputed institution.
- At least 2 years of work experience in the similar position.
Skills and Abilities:
- More specifically, GCI seeks the following specific competencies for this position:
- Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English;
- Excellent advocacy and presentation skills;
- Excellent interpersonal, networking, negotiation and facilitation skills;
- Ability to maintain very good coordinated professional relationship with all the stakeholders including students, faculties, guardians, and job market.
- Should be willing to undertake additional responsibilities, perform multiple tasks and work under pressure.

Duration:
- Initially 1-year with the possibility of extension. The first 6-months will be probationary period.
