Job Description

This role requires to administer and support National Payment Switch (Card Switch & Scheme) and its certifications. He/ She shall be engaged in switch system setup, configuration, monitoring, deployments and support participating members for technical integrations.

Job Specification

• At least University degree in Engineering/ Science/ IT or related field.
• At least 2-5 years of relevant experience in integration, deployment and configuration of card switch, EMV card scheme or card business.
• Knowledge in card switch, card operations and different products/ schemes including contact & contact less cards, POS, ATM, e-commerce of different payment networks.
• Knowledge of EMV card technology, EMV specifications, ISO 8583 Specification, and card-based switch operations is essential.
• Familiar with card switch systems, with ability to configure, monitor, and troubleshoot these systems.
• Understanding of security best practices in card operations, including encryption, authentication, authorization, and fraud detection.
• Knowledge of relevant software and tools used in card and switch operations, such as card management systems, Access Control systems, and switch monitoring software.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues related to EMV cards and card-based switch.
• Aware of industry regulations and compliance requirements, such as PCI DSS, EMVCo, and other relevant standards. Prior experience in PCI DSS implementation/operation will be an added advantage.
• Ability to manage and coordinate with network participants, related vendors and technology partners.
• Understanding of Web Services, XML, Message Queue, FTP, financial messaging will be advantage.
• Basic understanding of system administration (Linux/ AIX and Windows) and database (oracle, PostgreSQL and SQL Server databases including SQL queries)
• Basic knowledge on application web server (Apache Tomcat, Glassfish etc).
• Knowledge of networking fundamentals (Routing, Switching, VPN) and network security.
• Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies with strong interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in high-pressure environment is crucial.
