Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure compliance with Excise Laws, Customs Laws, VAT Laws and other liquor manufacturing rules and regulations;
• Facilitate regulator communications, visits and information needs;
• Work closely with other departments to develop budgets and financial forecasts, providing guidance and support as needed;
• Ensure that Factory financial records are accurate, reconciled and up-to-date and that financial transactions are properly recorded and classified and in full coordination with corporate accounts and finance team;
• Manage the accounts payable and accounts receivable functions at factory level, ensuring that payments are processed on time and that collections are made promptly;
• Ensure statutory records of Inventory- finished, semi-finished and raw materials live and accurate;
• Get the all types of audit done in factory smoothly and ensure timely resolution of exceptions; and
• Manage and develop a team of finance professionals by providing coaching and training as needed and ensure proper succession plan in factory.

Qualifications:

• CA – Qualified / Semi-qualified, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance or accounting role in a manufacturing Unit in Nepal.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial analysis techniques.
•  Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends and issues and develop solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues at all levels of the organization.
• Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP or Oracle, is preferred.
